Reporting Sharps in the City Centre

Belfast City Council removes drug-related litter such as sharps or needles from public spaces and property owned by Belfast City Council.  Please report any drug-related litter to their Community Safety Unit on 028 9027 0469 or sharps@belfastcity.gov.uk during office hours.

Businesses are required to remove sharps from their own premises. Please see the below video on safe lifting and and disposal of sharps and drug paraphernalia to be used as a best practice guide for your business where necessary.
